"Nice but noisy"
Pros: Great features, Vista 64, and looks great
Cons: hard drive makes an unusual, annoying click every few seconds and the processor power needs to be capped at 65% to keep the fan noise down.
Summary: I recently purchased the tablet and I like it but it has some issues.
The main problem is that the hard drive makes an unusual click sound every second or two. It's very annoying. I've sent the pc back to HP, but they only re-imaged the hard drive and the problem persists. The tech support has be friendly but not able to help. I was last told that the problem is known and will be fixed soon. If that happens, I'll return and re-rate the pc.
From researching it on the web I've found that it has to do with the hard drive going into a power saving mode incorrectly. WD (which is the brand of hard drive that's in the tablet) has a utility to fix it but it doesn't work with this pc. The link is:

The other problem is that I have to throttle the processor down to 65% power in order to keep it from sounding like a jet engine, even when idling. Its not a big deal b/c I'm only using office apps on it, but still...
Otherwise, its nearly perfect, I just can't use something that makes so much noise, particularly during meetings.
